I was so lucky to have a temporary job with high salary for a week. Above all, I met new cool people and had chance to go to awesome places (with good foods). There are too many plans for that money… Cambodia & Thailand, a pair of Nike, savings for family, and a little corner like this - a long journey to go…

Here in New York we are enjoying the end of winter and enduring some seriously dreary weather. I always get a bit of a travel bug this time of year, an itch for some adventure and a shake up in my usual routine. This video has been a favorite for some time and it always perfectly sums up what I long for. It’s that all-consuming need to try new foods, learn a new language, and most importantly see new things. As I head into spring, I’m making a little list of personal goals, from the very small (hanging art in my new apartment, reading more frequently) to the large (learning how to skateboard, planning a trip to California). It’s a nice way to start the new season on the right foot. And in the meantime, I have this video to remind me of the possibilities. What’s on your list?

These are photos of ‘merging oceans’ in the Alaskan gulf. What you are actually seeing is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean of salt water. The ocean having a higher percentage of salt, causes the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix. Eventually over time they wil completely mix, but for now it leaves this incredible beauty.
Amazing fact & Incredible photos
